Jiangsu rout Guangzhou R&F 5-1, Dalian tie 1-1 against Chongqing

BEIJING, April 21 (Xinhua) -- Alex Teixeira made two in seven minutes as Jiangsu Suning beat Guangzhou Fuli 5-1 at home for their third straight victory in the sixth round of the Chinese Super League (CSL) on Sunday.

Suning took an early lead as forward Eder Citadin Martins slotted home the opener in less than three minutes, but the visitors found the equalizer within 10 minutes as Dusko Tosic leapt up for the header.

Then it was Teixeira's showtime as the Brazilian sliced through R&F's defense in the 20th and 26th minutes and netted twice to give Suning a two-goal lead.

"I think it's one of the best games I have played in this year and I'm eager to win the Golden Boot, but the most important thing for me is to help our team to win," Teixeira said.

Martins also scored his second in 65th minute, before Xie Pengfei completed the spree with the fifth goal of the game in 89th minute for the home side.

Suning are demonstrating their prowess with 14 goals into the season as the most-scoring team in the league.

Elsewhere, Dalian Yifang scored their first goal at home of the season to tie 1-1 against Chongqing SWM.

Dalian's Belgian international Yannick Ferreira-Carrasco made aggressive moves from the start of the game, posing threats to goalkeeper Sui Weijie.

The former Atletico Madrid midfielder fired his right-foot shot to break the deadlock in the 68th minute.

Ten minutes later, Polish midfielder Adrian Mierzejewski hit his left-wing cross to the hand of Zhao Mingjian, resulting in a penalty which Fernando Henrique Da Conceicao converted for Chongqing.

In the other match on Sunday, Wuhan Zall draw 1-1 with Shanghai Greeland. Jiang Minwen opened the account for Wuhan in the 16th minute, before Greeland's Nigerian striker Odion Ighalo leveled it in the 36th minute.
