Henan Jianye beat Hebei China Fortune 3-2 in CSL

BEIJING, May 11 (Xinhua) -- Henan Jianye beat Hebei China Fortune 3-2 in the ninth round of the 2019 Chinese Super League (CSL) on Saturday.

Henan took an early lead as Cameroonian striker Franck Ohandza opened the account in the 6th minute, after a smooth cooperation with Brazilian midfielder Ivo.

Hebei drew level after 29 minutes when goalkeeper smothered a shot from Wang Qiuming into the path of Marcao, who scored with a close range header.

The visitors regained the lead as Ohandza converted the penalty 11 minutes later but Marcao headed home to made it 2-2 for Hebei in injury time of the first half.

With Hebei looking more likely to go ahead, Henan snatched the winner when Cameroon striker Christian Bassogog scored inside the box from Ohandza's back-heel assist in the 67th minute.

Chris Coleman, the former Wales manager, was under fire after Hebei sit second bottom of the league with an eight-match winless run.

"We made the same mistakes in defense every week, and things got worse when we also missed the opportunities to score. It's a terrible situation for us right now," said Coleman.

Elsewhere, Jean Evrard Kouassi's 88th minute goal helped Wuhan Zall defeat Dalian Yifang 2-1.

Leonardo Baptistao netted his first goal for Wuhan to break the deadlock in the 58th minute. Yannick Ferreira-Carrasco rounded the keeper to level it eight minutes later before Jean Evrard Kouassi came off the bench to score the winner with two minutes left.

After eight games, Wuhan rank 11th with four points behind Chongqing Lifan, who beat Beijing Renhe 2-0.
