"Pokemon Detective Pikachu" still leads Chinese mainland daily box office

BEIJING, May 13 (Xinhua) -- Hollywood's "Pokemon Detective Pikachu" topped the Chinese mainland box office Sunday, according to the China Movie Data Information Network Monday.

The live-action/animated film grossed 83.25 million yuan (12.24 million U.S. dollars).

It was followed by Disney and Marvel's "Avengers: Endgame," which took in 39.68 million yuan.

Coming in the third was the Lebanese film "Capernaum," which earned around 20.61 million yuan.
