Pic story of horse head fiddle maker in northeast China's Jilin

 

Baisu Gulang, a 37-year-old horse head fiddle maker, makes a horse head fiddle in Qian Gorlos Mongolian Autonomous County of Songyuan City, northeast China's Jilin Province, May 15, 2019. Under his father's influence, Baisu Gulang has an ardent love in making and playing the horse head fiddle, a traditional musical instrument favored by Mongolian ethnic group. He started learning to make horse head fiddle when he was 18 years old. In 2006, Baisu Gulang set up a horse head fiddle workshop, where he voluntarily teaches enthusiasts to make and play the instrument besides selling. (Xinhua/Zhang Nan)
