BERLIN, May 16 (Xinhua) -- Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer and attacking midfielder James Rodriguez will be unavailable for the club's final Bundesliga match of the season against Eintracht Frankfurt, coach Niko Kovac confirmed Thursday.

"Manuel Neuer has made good progress today. He's on the road to recovery, but he won't play at the weekend," Kovac said. "James Rodriguez is also still out."

Neuer has been sidelined since sustaining a calf injury against Fortuna Dusseldorf on April 14. It also remains unclear whether the captain will return for the German Cup final against RB Leipzig on May 25.

League leaders Bayern would seal a seventh successive title with a home draw against Eintracht Frankfurt, but defeat would allow Borussia Dortmund to pip them to the title if they win their match away at Borussia Monchengladbach.

"In winter, we were still hopeful of winning the title," Kovac said. "Now it's in our hands and we intend to take our chance. We can't wait for the game."

Bayern's Joshua Kimmich, Thiago Alcantara and Javi Martinez have recovered from injury and will all be available for the game against Frankfurt.
