BEIJING, May 17 (Xinhua) -- Beijing Guoan continued their fearsome form in Chinese Super League as they snatched their 10th consecutive victory on Friday after a 2-1 triumph over Tianjin Tianhai.

The hosts broke the deadlock in the 12th minute as Yu Dabao thundered a volley into the back of the net to open the scoring. Li Ke doubled Guoan's lead in the 72nd minute, firing a low, line drive into the net from a Viera assist.

"Yu scored a decisive goal and it is not easy for a central defender to fire like that," Beijing Guoan coach Roger Schmidt said.

Yang Xu pulled one back for Tianhai one minute before the end, firing a shot by receiving a cut-back from Renato Ribeiro Calixto.

With the victory, Beijing Guoan keep the top position of the table with 30 points from 10 games.

Guangzhou Evergrande enjoyed a victory by edging Wuhan Zall 3-2 after two consecutive defeat, three points behind the defending champion Shanghai SIPG.
