Calligrapher without arms uses mouth to write Chinese calligraphy in Jiangxi

Cai Mujiang uses his mouth to write calligraphy at his studio in Xinjian District of Nanchang, capital of east China's Jiangxi Province, May 18, 2019. Thirty-five-year-old Cai Mujiang is a calligrapher with a difference. At the age of 23, Cai lost his arms in an accident. Despite the tragedy, Cai refused to give up and was able to take care of himself after arduous efforts. In 2010, Cai began to learn to use his mouth to write Chinese calligraphy. After one year of learning, he mastered the skills and made a living through writing calligraphy in the streets. With the help of local government and disabled persons' federation, Cai started a calligraphy studio in Wangshan Tuku scenic spot in Xinjian District in 2017 to sell calligraphy works and regional specialties.
