RIYADH, May 23 (Xinhua) -- The Saudi air forces intercepted on Thursday a bomb-laden drone allegedly sent by the Houthi militia against Najran Regional Airport, Saudi Press Agency reported.
Targeting the airport used by thousands of civilians goes against international laws, said Turki al-Maliki, spokesman of the Saudi-led coalition involved in a war in Yemen.
He accused Yemen's Houthi rebels of attacking civilian sites without considering the risks incurred on civilians.
The spokesman also threatened strong action to deter Houthis from further violations of international laws.
