BUENOS AIRES, May 26 (Xinhua) -- Boca Juniors earned a place in Argentina's Superliga Cup final on Sunday by completing a 1-0 aggregate victory over Argentinos Juniors.
Lisandro Lopez struck the winner with a 55th-minute header at La Bombonera as the hosts booked a spot in the competition decider against Tigre. The teams drew 0-0 in last week's first leg.
Both sides finished the match with 10 men after Boca midfielder Ivan Marcone and Argentinos Juniors attacker Matias Romero were each shown red cards during an ill-tempered second half.
Tigre secured their berth in the final with a 1-0 win at Atletico Tucuman on Saturday, completing a 6-0 whitewash over two legs.
The Superliga Cup final will be played in the northwestern city of Cordoba next Sunday.
The winner of the Superliga Cup will earn a berth in next year's Copa Libertadores, South America's top club competition.
