BEIJING, June 1 (Xinhua) -- Warner Bros. and Legendary Entertainment's action film "Godzilla: King of the Monsters" topped the Chinese mainland box office Friday, the China Movie Data Information Network said Saturday.
The film grossed about 133.9 million yuan (about 19.4 million U.S. dollars) Friday, accounting for about 76 percent of the daily total.
It was followed by Disney's live-action "Aladdin," which brought in 16.3 million yuan.
Coming in the third was "Pokemon Detective Pikachu," which earned 5.9 million yuan.
