HARBIN, June 1 (Xinhua) -- An indoor wonderland opened to the public on Saturday in Harbin Ice-Snow World, China's largest ice-themed park in the country's northeastern Heilongjiang Province.

The indoor ice and snow park covers 5,000 square meters, with inside temperature between minus 8 to minus 5 degrees Celsius.

To add more artistic and entertaining elements, a total of 17 scenic spots have been built in the theme park's four recreational areas, including a time shuttle, a fairy tale world, and an art palace made of ice and snow.

Visitors can also experience indoor ice shows and snow entertainments such as mini curling, ice bikes, snow dodgems, ice slides and snow tubing.

The 600,000-square-meter winter fairyland has attracted more than 10 million visitors from home and abroad since its founding in 1999.
