BEIRUT, June 3 (Xinhua) -- A member of Lebanon's Internal Security Forces was killed, another one and a civilian were wounded, during a clash with the gunmen in Lebanon's northern city Tripoli on Monday.
A security source told Xinhua that the gunmen clashed with a patrol of the Internal Security Forces at the entrance to the city, which led to the fall of a security member and injury of another and the burning of one of their vehicle.
At the same time, another group of gunmen threw a sound bomb at the government headquarters in Tripoli, wounding one civilian, the source added.
The Lebanese Security Forces hunted for the gunmen who hid in a residential building in the center of the city, and the Lebanese army units have surrounded them, according to the source.
No further information about the identity of the gunmen and the reason of the clash.
