BEIJING, June 4 (Xinhua) -- Warner Bros. and Legendary Entertainment's action film "Godzilla: King of the Monsters" topped the Chinese mainland box office on Monday, the China Movie Data Information Network said Tuesday.
The film pulled in around 36.52 million yuan (about 5.3 million U.S. dollars) on the day and grossed more than 520 million yuan in four days since its debut on the mainland.
It was followed by Disney's live-action "Aladdin," which earned around 7.98 million yuan.
Coming in the third was Japanese animation "Doraemon: Nobita's Chronicle of the Moon Exploration," the last Doraemon feature film that brought in around 3.4 million yuan.
