Designer renovates village houses into multifunctional guesthouses in E China

He started to re-design village houses after returning back to his hometown Anji. In 2014, Chen renovated a group of residential houses with the support of the local government. Since then, five guesthouses have been renovated and put into use. On his effort, the residential area once fallen has gradually become a guesthouse village equipped with accommodation, dining hall and artwork. (Xinhua/Weng Xinyang)
