KUNMING, June 6 (Xinhua) -- A total of 10.27 kg of methamphetamine hidden in bacon products were seized by police in southwest China's Yunnan Province.

Police in Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan, were tipped-off on June 1 that contraband is possibly smuggled in nine express parcels with no senders, recipients and addresses attached.

The drugs were then found in 20 pieces of bacon products in the parcels.

Further investigation is underway.

Yunnan, bordering the Golden Triangle, is a major front in China's battle against drug crime.
