HOHHOT, June 30 (Xinhua) -- Six people were killed in a traffic accident in north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Sunday, according to local emergency response authorities.
The accident occurred at around 4:40 p.m. Sunday on a provincial highway in Aershan, Xing'an League, when a lorry heading Aershan from Ulanhot failed in an attempt to overtake a coach in the same direction and crashed into another dump truck in the opposite direction, which led to a fire.
As of 11:30 p.m. Sunday, at least six people died in the accident.
