Two Qatari warplanes collide during training, pilots eject safely

DOHA, July 10 (Xinhua) -- Two Qatari warplanes collided with each other in the air on a training flight, and the pilots managed to eject safely, the Defense Ministry said Wednesday.

After the collision, the pilots were able to safely escape by using their ejection seats, the ministry said on its Twitter account.

It did not specify when the collision took place or the types of aircraft involved.
