BEIRUT, July 12 (Xinhua) -- Lebanese House Speaker Nabih Berri urged Arab officials on Friday to protect the Arab nations' wealth and dignity, the National News Agency reported.
"We are not calling for an Arab integration but we should at least be capable to cooperate facing any potential threats while protecting the dignity and resources of our nations," Berri was quoted as saying during his meeting with a delegation from the Arab Organization of Young Lawyers.
Berri slammed the Arabs for not uniting in protecting the Palestinian cause.
"The most dangerous challenge facing the Palestinian cause is the absence of a unified stance among Arabs with regard to the Deal of the Century," Berri said while adding that this deal is commercial.
Berri also praised the resistance's efforts facing Israel's conspiracy projects in the region.
