TEHRAN, July 18 (Xinhua) -- Iran international winger Milad Mohammadi has joined Belgian top-flight soccer club KAA Gent, the Tehran Times reported on Thursday.
The 25-year-old has signed a three-year contract with the Belgian team, joining as a free agent from Russian outfit Akhmat Grozny.
Previously linked with a move to Scottish champions Celtic, Mohammadi was a member of Iran's national team at the 2018 FIFA World Cup and the 2019 AFC Asian Cup.
