HANOI, July 18 (Xinhua) -- China on Thursday downed Vietnam 3-1, securing its four-match winning streak at the ongoing third Asian women's U23 volleyball championship which will wrap up on Sunday in Vietnam's capital Hanoi.
China defeated Vietnam 3-1 with scores of 25-14, 25-15, 23-25 and 25-13 in 102 minutes, making many eye-catching aces and blitz spikes.
Earlier, China beat New Zealand, India and Chinese Taipei with the same final score of 3-0.
Also on Thursday, China's Hong Kong lost 3-0 to Thailand in 74 minutes.
