Oman welcomes peaceful political agreement in Sudan

MUSCAT, July 18 (Xinhua) -- The Omani government on Thursday welcomed the peaceful political agreement reached in Sudan.

The Omani Foreign Ministry said in a statement that this agreement will contribute to achieving peace, security and stability for the Sudanese people.

The statement added that Oman is looking forward to strengthening relations and bilateral cooperation with Sudan to achieve the common interests of the two peoples.
