Dollar changes hands in lower 108 yen range in early trade in Tokyo

TOKYO, July 24 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar changed hands in the lower 108 yen zone in early deals in Tokyo on Wednesday, largely in line with its levels in New York overnight.

As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 108.23-24 yen compared with 108.16-26 yen in New York and 108.10-11 yen at 5 p.m. on Tuesday in Tokyo.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1151-1151 dollars and 120.69-73 yen against 1.1147-1157 dollars and 120.61-71 yen in New York and 1.1192-1194 dollars and 120.99-121.03 yen in late Tuesday afternoon trade in Tokyo.
