NEW YORK, July 28 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.3 jolted 144 km ESE of Shingu, Japan at 1831 GMT on Saturday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 375.75 km, was initially determined to be at 33.1122 degrees north latitude and 137.3534 degrees east longitude.
