KAMPALA, Aug. 7 (Xinhua) -- Uganda's KCCA FC on Wednesday left for Namibia to face hosts African Stars FC in the preliminary round of the 2019-20 Confederation of African Football (CAF) Champions League.

Mike Mutebi, head coach of KCCA FC, told Xinhua that the team has prepared well for the away game scheduled for Saturday in Windhoek and the target is to reach the group stage of the tournament.

Charles Lukwago, KCCA team captain and goalkeeper said they will not underrate the African Stars FC because every team is comfortable playing at home.

"We need to get a good result away before our home game later this month," Lukwago added.

The return leg of the tie will kick off on August 23.
