BEIJING, Aug. 13 (Xinhua) -- "Bodies at Rest," a Chinese crime thriller by Hollywood director Renny Harlin, is set to open in Chinese mainland theaters on Friday, according to the China Film Distribution and Exhibition Association.
It tells of a hardworking forensics expert and his intern who are suddenly accosted by masked intruders demanding access to a body involved in a recent crime.
Starring Nick Cheung, Yang Zi and Richie Jen, the film was the opening title of the Hong Kong International Film Festival in March 2019.
Renny Harlin, 60, is best known for directing "Die Hard 2" and "Cliffhanger."
