BEIJING, Aug. 18 (Xinhua) -- "Killing for the Prosecution," a Japanese crime thriller by acclaimed director Masato Harada, is set to be released in cinemas on the Chinese mainland starting Sept. 6, according to the film's official Weibo account.
Adapted from a best-selling novel by Shusuke Shizukui and starring Takuya Kimura and Kazunari Ninomiya, both big names from Japan, the film revolves around two prosecutors who collide over a murder case.
The film, produced by Toho Co., Ltd., made its debut in Japan in August 2018 and a Chinese-subtitled trailer has been released recently.
