DOHA, Aug. 19 (Xinhua) -- Qatar and Pakistan on Monday discussed military and defense relations and means to boost cooperation, according to a statement released by the Qatari defense ministry.
"Qatari Minister of State for Defense Affairs Khalid bin Mohammad Al Attiyah met with Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee of Pakistan, Zubair Mahmood Hayat, who is currently on a visit to Qatar," the ministry said in the statement.
Attiyah and Hayat reviewed the military and defense relations between the two countries and means to push them forward.
They also dealt with means to further joint cooperation and training, added the statement.
