THE HAGUE, Aug. 22 (Xinhua) -- Isabell Werth, 50, prolonged her European title at the dressage Grand Prix Special at the European Championships equestrian in Rotterdam on Thursday.
It was her 19th European title in total. Werth captured the title with her horse Bella Rose. Her compatriot Dorothee Schneider became second and Cathrine Dufour from Denmark grabbed the bronze medal with Cassidy.
As a member of the German team, Werth won her first European gold in 1989. She also has six Olympic golds and nine world titles.
