NAIROBI, Sept. 17 (Xinhua) -- Zimbabwe have done enough to win the Victoria Cup rugby tournament with one match to spare against Kenya in Nakuru town on Saturday.

The World Rugby confirmed on Tuesday that Zimbabwe, who edged out Kenya 30-29 in Harare in June, will be crowned the new champions ahead of the dead-rubber return clash in Nakuru.

Kenya will have to settle for the second spot with Uganda third, while Zambia will finish last in the four-nation regional rugby competition.

"The Victoria Cup will remain in Zimbabwe's possession after the Sables completed a clean sweep of wins in the four-nation tournament with a 41-5 victory against Zambia in Lusaka on Saturday. They play Kenya on Saturday in Nakuru to conclude the tournament," World Rugby said in a statement on Tuesday.

The win sees Zimbabwe edge out Kenya in the world rankings as they jump up to position 33 with 51.8 points, with Kenya next in 34th having amassed 51.44 points.

Ireland, New Zealand, England, South Africa and Wales make up the world's top five teams.

The Sables, who won the Victoria Cup the last time it was played in 2011, ran in seven tries against their lower-ranked opponents and the scoreline would have been even more convincing had their captain and scrum-half Hilton Mudariki and his half-back partner Dudlee White-Sharpley been more accurate from the kicking tee.

The loss was enough, however, for Zambia to drop below Chinese Taipei and into 66th place in the world rankings.
