Allegations of genocide and concentration camps in China's Xinjiang are baseless, said Juergen Kurz, a German Green Party member who has been living and working in China for 18 years.
He said the vocational centers established in Xinjiang are to eradicate extremism and help trainees, who go to the centers voluntarily, obtain three education and skills necessary to find better jobs and incomes.
