TEHRAN, July 25 (Xinhua) -- Iran and Persepolis goalkeeper Alireza Beiranvand dreams of playing against Cristiano Ronaldo in Turin derby, the website Persian Football reported on Thursday.
Beiranvand has been linked with a move to Serie A soccer club Torino.
"I dream of playing against CR7 in the Turin derby," Beiranvand was quoted as saying.
Beiranvand saved a penalty from Ronaldo in the match against Portugal in the 2018 World Cup which took his name into the international spotlight.
The 26-year-old also helped Persepolis win three successive Iran league titles.
