YANGON, Aug. 14 (Xinhua) -- Khin Ohmar Myint was crowned the title of Miss Myanmar International 2019 which was held in Yangon late on Wednesday.
Khin Ohmar Myint, 23, also grabbed a title of Miss Congeniality.
Meanwhile, Myo Thiri Ko and Ya Mone earned the 1st and the 2nd runner-up titles, respectively.
"Beauty pageants like Miss Myanmar International have not only been producing outstanding and talented Myanmar representative beauty queens, but also helping in promoting the country's tourism sector development," U Khin Aung Htun, vice chairman of Myanmar Tourism Federation, said at the grand final event of the beauty pageant late on Wednesday.
A total of 20 beauty candidates from the country's states and regions took part in Wednesday's Miss Myanmar International 2019 pageant.
Just-crowned Khin Ohmar Myint will be a contestant in upcoming Miss International 2019 to be held in Tokyo, Japan in November this year.
