AMMAN, April 16 (Xinhua) -- South Korea secured a ticket to FIFA Women's World Cup 2019 after routing the Philippines 5-0 in a playoff for the fifth place at the AFC Asian Cup here on Monday.
South Korea will join Australia, Japan, China and Thailand as Asian representatives in the draw for France 2019.
Midfielder Cho So-Hyun scored twice. Defenders Jang Sel-Gi and Lim Seon-Joo, as well as forward Lee Mi-na added one each.
The semi-finals of the tournament will be held on April 17, followed by the third-place playoff and the final on April 20.
