BERLIN, July 13 (Xinhua) -- Eintracht Frankfurt have wrapped up the transfer of Goncalo Paciencia from FC Porto, both sides confirmed on Friday.

The 23-year-old striker will reinforce the "Eagles" offense after putting pen to paper on a four-year deal, which keeps him at Frankfurt until June 2022.

"We signed with Goncalo a real center forward, who gives our squad more variability. He is agile and can hold the ball in front of the goal," Frankfurt's sporting director Fredi Bobic said.

The new arrival spent the last season on loan at Viktoria Setubal where he scored five goals in 18 appearances. Paciencia played overall 51 caps for Portugal's youth team before he made his debut with the senior team on November 14, 2017.

"It is a great feeling to be here. I am excited and looking forward of being part of the Eintracht family. It was always my dream to play in the Bundesliga," Paciencia told the club's official homepage.

The "Eagles" have completed the season 2017-2018 on the 8th place of the Bundesliga table. They clinched the German Cup title after upsetting giants Bayern Munich 3-1 in the final.
