TEHRAN, Sept. 15 (Xinhua) -- Persepolis midfielder, Bashar Resan, is reportedly a doubt for a vital AFC Champions League match against Al Duhail of Qatar, Tehran Times daily reported on Saturday.
Persepolis will host Al Duhail in Tehran's Azadi Stadium at the second leg of the AFC Champions League quarter-finals.
The Qatari soccer club edged past Persepolis 1-0 in the first leg in Doha.
The Iraqi player, Resan, sustained an ankle injury during a friendly match between Iraq and Kuwait last week.
Resan's absence would be a severe blow to their hopes of beating Al Duhail in Tehran as Persepolis are chasing a second consecutive semi-final.
