JAKARTA, Sept. 25 (Xinhua) -- Indonesia's swimming team has set a four-gold medal targets during the forthcoming Asian Para Games in the country later this year, a coach disclosed on Tuesday.

"For swimming, the athletes are targeted to secure four golds, hopefully this can be achieved," coach of Indonesian swimming team Dimin B.A. said.

Host Indonesia will send 28 swimmers during the regional sport event scheduled to be held in the country's capital of Jakarta from October 6 to 13.

The team comprises 18 male swimmers and 10 female swimmers, he added.

For preparation, the coach said that the swimmers persistently undertake practice by far, still the intensity has been eased.

"Previously they practice nine times in a week, but now as the time for the Games get closer, the intensity reduced to six times every week," Dimin was quoted by Antara news wire as saying.

"I hope all the athletes will be able to perform well and hopefully the four-gold target can be met, or more than that," he added.
