WINDHOEK, Nov. 17 (Xinhua) -- Namibian national soccer team played out a goalless draw with Guinea Bissau in Windhoek Saturday leaving it all to fight for the last round of matches in March to qualify for the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
Namibia needed a win to stay at top of the group but could not find an answer against the physically built West Africans.
While Namibia dominated the passes and possession, Guinea Bissau maintained aerial superiority cutting off all set pieces.
The result leaves both Namibia and the West Africans tied on 8 points and Namibia will need to come out with a win in Zambia in their last matches in March.
The tournament will be played in Cameroon. Enditem
