CAIRO, Jan. 8 (Xinhua) -- The Confederation of African Football (CAF) announced on Tuesday that Egypt will host the the 2019 African Cup of Nations for the fifth time in history, state-run TV reported.
The 2019 African Cup of Nations was initially scheduled to be hosted by Cameroon. However, Cameroon was stripped of hosting the tournament for serious delay preparations.
Egypt hosted four African Cup of Nations' tournaments in 1957, 1974, 1986 and 2006 and it won the title for seven times.
