BEIRUT, Feb. 13 (Xinhua) -- Saudi envoy Nizar al-Aloula said on Wednesday that Saudi Arabia will support Lebanon on all levels, Lebanese presidency's website reported.
"We will keep on supporting Lebanon in all areas in a bid to boost relations between the two countries," al-Aloula was quoted as saying during his visit to Lebanese President Michel Aoun at Baabda Palace.
The two parties discussed the steps that should be taken in a bid to activate bilateral agreements between the two countries in the coming period.
Al-Aloula announced a day earlier that over 20 agreements between Saudi Arabia and Lebanon will be activated now that the new Lebanese government is formed.
Meanwhile, Al-Aloula met with Lebanese House Speaker Nabih Berri to discuss the latest developments in Lebanon and the region in addition to potential ways of cooperation between the two countries.
