Morocco's HUSA Agadir qualify to quarterfinals of CAF Confederations Cup

RABAT, March 17 (Xinhua) -- Debutant HUSA Agadir beat their Moroccan counterpart of RS Berkane 1-0 on Sunday in CAF Confederations Cup to advance for the first time in their history to the quarterfinals of a continental tournament.

At Agadir Grand Stadium, the qualifying goal was scored by Youssef Fahli at the 26th minute.

HUSA Agadir benefitted from the defeat of Congolese club AS Otoho, who lost 4-1 to tittle holders Raja Casablanca of Morocco.

HUSA Agadir moved with this win to the second place with eight points after RS Berkane, who already qualified with 11 points.

Defending champions Raja Casablanca finished third with seven points followed by AS Otoho with five points.
