BEIJING, April 2 (Xinhua) -- Jarnell Stokes had 29 points, 10 rebounds, and Abdusalam added 19 points, 11 rebounds to give Xinjiang a 111-95 away victory over hosts Guangsha, ending the best-of-five series 3-1 to reach the semifinal of the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) league on Tuesday.
With a 2-1 lead in the series, Xinjiang took advantage of some errors of Guangsha as the fourth game started, and led by 13 points after the first quarter. Guangsha cut the deficit to nine points before the break, but never got a chance to lead. Xinjiang led 91-65 before the last period, and won the game comfortably.
Kay Felder of Xinjiang had 28 points and 11 assists. Xinjiang had 50 rebounds while the hosts got 36, and Xinjiang scored 30 out of 49 from the floor.
Xinjiang will face defending champions Liaoning in the best-of-seven semifinals.
