WARSAW, April 13 (Xinhua) -- Polish actor Pawel Sakowski will appear in the last season of Game of Thrones which will premier on Sunday.

"I am supposed to be seen in the second and third episodes of Game of Thrones, and of course I will watch the whole season -- either on a big screen or at home together with friends," Sakowski told Xinhua recently.

Currently a theatre actor in Polish city Poznan, Sakowski ended up playing in the series after he met someone involved in TV production in a pub in Ireland and later sent in a portfolio. Sakowski spent 12 days on the set of Game of Thrones and is the only Pole to have acted in the production.

"Everything on the set of Game of Thrones was impressive and extraordinary," Sakowski said. "The feeling was that there were no cost limits to be kept to make sure that the show will impress everybody on the planet."

Sakowski, who received considerable attention from Polish media in the run-up to the premiere, will appear in the battle of Winterfell, advertised as the biggest and longest battle scene to ever be shown on screen. Filming the battle of Winterfell reportedly required enormous physical and logistical efforts from actors and production staff.

Sakowski is now busy with his next projects, which include an independent Polish film and a fantasy TV show. His involvement in the Game of Thrones has reportedly brought more offers.
