HONG KONG, May 15 (Xinhua) -- Hong Kong stocks closed up 146.69 points, or 0.52 percent, to 28,268.71 points on Wednesday.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index traded between 28,171.32 and 28,441.49. Turnover totaled 96.12 billion Hong Kong dollars (about 12.24 billion U.S. dollars).
