HANGZHOU, May 15 (Xinhua) -- A movie on Longjing tea will start shooting in June in Hangzhou, eastern China's Zhejiang Province, according to the 3rd China International Tea Expo that opened Wednesday.

The movie will be shot from mid-June to October in Longjing Village. The movie, adapted from a novel, will feature the scenery in the village and how the lives of residents in Hangzhou are connected to Longjing tea.

The movie will be screened publicly in 2020. "We hope to present the unique charm of Chinese tea culture and the culture and beauty of Longjing tea to our audience," said Tang Guangyi, the movie's producer.
