KAMPALA, July 30 (Xinhua) -- The return leg of the South Sudan/Burundi 2020 Africa Nations Championship (CHAN) will be held here on Aug. 4, a top official said on Tuesday.

Edgar Watson, chief executive of Federation of Uganda Football Associations told Xinhua that South Sudan requested Uganda to host the game because the stadium back home is under renovation.

Burundi beat side Bright Star of South Sudan 2-0 in the first leg played in Bujumbura last weekend.

South Sudan's new coach Cyprian Besong Ashu told Xinhua in an interview that they still have a good chance to win against Burundi.

"We made some mistakes in Bujumbura, but we can still eliminate them here in Kampala," Ashu said.

Cameroon will host the CHAN tournament in 2020 after Ethiopia were stripped off the hosting right by the Confederation of African Football.

The CHAN tournament is played by locally based players playing in the domestic leagues of the respective countries. Morocco are the defending champions of the tournament.
