ANKARA, Aug. 25 (Xinhua) -- Turkish security forces seized 1.2 tons of marijuana in an operation in eastern Turkey, state-run Anadolu Agency reported Sunday.
The forces seized 1.2 tons of marijuana and 501,700 cannabis sativa roots in the Genc district of Bingol Province, a statement from the provincial governor's office was quoted as saying.
Three suspects were arrested.
