WARSAW, Aug. 29 (Xinhua) -- Steven Gerrard's Rangers qualified for Europa League group phase, beating Poland's Legia 1-0 in the revenge clash with Colombian striker Alfredo Morelos scoring the decisive goal in the stoppage time.

In the first leg in Warsaw, The Gers was unable to find the net and came back to Scotland after the goaless draw. However, Steven Gerrard's men were still a favourite before the revenge at the Ibrox stadium.

On the pre-match press conference, Rangers' coach expressed his belief that the atmosphere of the stadium can help his team.

"It's not the nicest place to come for opposition teams. We expect the place to be rocking and we want to give a performance that suits that atmosphere," said the former Liverpool FC captain.

From the first minute, both teams tried to attack, showing the great determination, but before the break fans didn't see the opening goal. In the second half, Rangers turned up the pace and created few good chances, while Legia was focused on the defence.

When it seemed that the extra time would come, Morelos scored the decisive goal.
