NAIROBI, Sept. 26 (Xinhua) -- Kenya cricket team will play two warm-up matches against Jersey of Britain and Canada in Dubai prior to the start of the World Cup T20 qualifiers in the United Arab Emirates from Oct. 18 to Nov. 2.
International Cricket Council (ICC) has released the new fixtures for the tournament, which will see Kenya made its latest attempt to qualify for the finals in 2020 to be played in Adelaide, Australia.
"We have a strong team and we will put up a good show in Dubai. Kenya can challenge for the top two spots and make their maiden show at the T20 World Cup in Australia," coach Maurice Odumbe said on Thursday.
Kenya is pooled with Scotland, the Netherlands, Papua New Guinea, Namibia, Singapore and Bermuda in Group A in the tournament.
