THE HAGUE, Nov. 24 (Xinhua) -- After four defeats and two draws, PSV finally bagged a win again in the Dutch Eredivisie on Sunday.

Boosted by the return of forwards Steven Bergwijn and Donyell Malen from injuries, PSV beat sc Heerenveen 2-1 in Eindhoven. Bergwijn smashed in the opening goal and curled in the second PSV goal in spectacular fashion.

Nick Viergever hit the post on behalf of PSV, but Heerenveen managed to narrow the margin through Jens Odgaard. Despite some panic at the defense of the home team, the visitors failed to produce the equalizer and PSV secured the three points.

On Saturday Quincy Promes scored a brace and Zakaria Labyad and Klaas-Jan Huntelaar handed Ajax an easy 4-1 victory over Heracles Almelo in Amsterdam, four days before the Champions League encounter with Lille OSC. Also on Saturday, AZ defeated FC Utrecht 3-0 in Utrecht thanks to goals by Oussama Idrissi, Teun Koopmeiners and Myron Boadu.

Ajax now lead the Eredivisie table with 38 points after 14 match rounds, followed by AZ with 32 points and PSV with 27 points.
