BEIRUT, April 5 (Xinhua) -- Over 350 companies representing 11 countries took part in the 26th edition of Horeca in Lebanon, an annual meeting of hospitality and food service industries.
The four-day event, which kicked off on Tuesday, witnessed the participations from Lebanon and neighboring countries who came to meet and exchange expertise in the field.
"The participators consider this forum a platform in the hospitality sector," the event organizer Joumana Dammous-Salame told Xinhua that they got support from ministries, associations, sponsors, syndicates and chambers for the event.
"We participate in this exhibition on a yearly basis and we see Lebanese companies are well competing with foreign companies in quality, offers and packaging style," Edward Feghali, representative of EMF Lebanon, the coordination office for the Barry Callebaut Group, a world leading chocolate and cocoa related producer, told Xinhua.
